Hi folks, new to this forum looks like a lot of good people hangin' round here. I've been playing for about 40 plus years (a few lean years raising kids), I play mostly in church these days. My main go to is an American Deluxe Ash Tele, American Deluxe HSS Strat, and I just got a loaded 52 Hot Rod body off of e-bay, and am waiting on a neck for it. I have several other guitars of differing brands but I'm not sure if I can mention other brand names here so I'll let it go at that. Glad to be here, I love to talk guitars and gear.

Welcome to the Forum…Yeah don’t worry about talking about other brands…we are all players and tone chasers here.. Most on this forum own and use other than Fender gear as well and that’s all good, as long as you’re playing and happy doing it. I love my Fender guitars and amps but only a fool would believe one piece of gear will cover everything; I have other brands of guitar and amps to cover the other types of music I enjoying playing and its all good…..If you get the chance we would love to see pictures of your gear… the one things everybody loves here almost as much as playing gear is seeing others gear……Once again welcome to the family and have a great time here…I for one am looking forward to learning from your 40 + years on knowledge.

Cheers
Bill

O.K. fhopkins, here goes with the rest of the list. My other go to is a PRS McCarty natural flame maple top. A modded MIM Strat, 2 Squier Teles, Epiphone Elitist Les Paul, Epi Sheraton, Epi 56 re-issue Les Paul, 71 D-35 Martin, D18 Golden Era Martin, 000-16RGTC Martin, Flatiron F5Artist mandolin, and a Shiplett Mandolin. I'm thinking about thinning the herd a little bit, but having a hard time deciding what to part with.

Welcome to the Forum. Although most of us here are Fendwr lovers, we all appreciate any and all guitars. You will see some talk of other brands. See you around. We are a pretty good group here.

Welcome to the forum babalooga. :)

This is a geezer-rich forum and you will fit right in. Not that I am a geezer myself...

:cough:60:cough:

I play two 2004 strat American Hardtail Standards and a mid-70's Martin 00-18. I have a 1966 Deluxe Reverb (modified; 44 watts, JBL K120) and a MIJ 1986 Fender Esquire.

Enjoy yourself, pal.

Hi babalooga welcome. I'm another geezer with 40+ years on the guitar. There's a bunch of us. Feel free to talk about other brands, lots of us do it. It's all about music, gear and sharing experiences and knowledge.

That's quite an impressive list of gear. I'm an Epi fan myself and what can I say about Martin guitars!! 8)
