Have everybody forgotten Creed. Now there is a band that was way too famous comparing to talent.

Hahhaha...I agree 100%.
Green Day and Bon Jovi are the worst to me because somehow they have gained popularity and success by recording the same g-damn song over and over and over again. Seriously listen to any 5 Bon Jovi songs from 5 different albums. They all follow the same pattern. Same with Green day. I guarantee none of those guys ever took a music lesson in their lives. Those two by definition suck and are among the worst bands ever.

Okay this has turned more into a personal bands guys do not like than those that actually suck for lack of talent as to many bands have been mentioned that are talented.

I could make people do a Linds Blair if I was in a room of music critics by saying every time my brother would blast Miles Davis, I would rather smash my head against a wall. Or I could care less if I ever heard Aretha Franklin sing again or Mike Stern play guitar but I know these people are extremely talented but not my cup of tea. There is a difference.

me.

Are they cheesey, god yes.
Are they tacky, oh my yes.
Are they rubbish? not a chance. I class listening to nickelback as akin to listining to that awesome cheezey tacky 80's music.

I dont think they take themselves too seriously either. and they do a great live show.

Going through this thread though, its not going to solve the puzzle of the worst band. I mean people have put forward Coldplay, Kiss, ABBA, Oassis, Metallica, Guns N Roses and many other hugely popular and tallented bands.

Im not fond of the music of ABBA, but its brilliant music nonetheless. great song writing, great lyrics when taken in the context of pop. catchy nad well written. Same with many other bands.

You can hate a band, but that doesnt make them rubbish, its all subjective and must be taken in context. Its not a mathemathical equation where your right or wrong.
