While I absolutely hate Nickleback, they have had far too much success to be the worst band ever.

I just can't seem to figure out who buys their albums. It blows my mind.

Why do you hate em? There my early childhood band!
I was about to say slipknot, cause there a bunch of suicidal freaks, but they have to much fame.

Justin bieber?

I would have to say Nickleback, even though they have had a lot of success, that success is do to cheesy songs that pull at the heart strings.

If you leave your radio tuned into one of the pop stations in your area, you will def hear one of their songs at least 10 times throughout the day

Vinnie Vincent Invasion. I think Vinnie is more stuck on himself than Yngwie, but Yngwie has the chops to back it up. Vinnie is like Micheal Angelo Batio without the control or fluidity. *hides from angry MAB fans*

There are to many bands that I think guys dislike instead of truly awful that part would have to be seperated. Mike Sterns is a guitar genius that I know but I could care less to ever hear him solo again just not my cup of tea. The Melvins, Insane Clown Posse, Sonseed, Men without Hats are truly nightmares.

I do not know about this thread. There is usually a big difference between who is "worst" and who you "hate". Some bands mentioned who have definitely produced at least some good music are: Spin Doctors, Oasis, and Culture Club.

Now, I am only very vaguely familiar with Insane Clown Posse. I have never heard them, but they sure look like they may be the worst. But someone very insightful said the Vinnie Vincent Invasion ... where the makeup was even worse than the guitar playing. We may have a winner ...

Any of the dropped tuning/detuned thrash and death metal bands qualifies. I heard one last night called Crowbar(which is a copyright infringement on the popular 60s&70s Canadian band of the same name)and they were appallingly bad.I never liked Bob Segar and The Silver Bullet Band, although it seemed that everyone raved about them their music turned me right off.I never got into Nirvana or G n' R as they just didn't rock my boat and Axel Rose always sounded like he was about to toss his groceries when he started to sing.Others will follow when they come to mind.

I agree with you there. There is aspects of ABBA that i really like, particularly the vocal harmonies, and the fact that some of the stuff they did to two inch tape go unappreciated in todays Protools and Cubase society. Now does that mean i'm standing in front of a mirror like Buffalo Bill from silence of the Lambs while "Dancing Queen" is playing in the background... no way jose. But I'm sure there are bands I like that would make others want to vomit.

As for worst band... i'll go with the first band I formed in highschool... we were TERRIBLE

Have everybody forgotten Creed. Now there is a band that was way too famous comparing to talent.
