Guitar toolkit all the way. It has a very accurate tuner with
a ton of alternate tunings to go with it. Scales chords you name it
It's the only guitar app you need.

Thanks! We're shipping it in a couple of days! First in Europe on July 1st and then in the US July 7th. Try the Free app to see how it sounds: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/amplitub ... 09342?mt=8

Glad to hear of the release date! I already bought the full app. Looks great on the iPad. I am really anxious to get my hands on the iRig adapter and try it out. I have been using the Amplitube software with the Stealthplug on my Macbook and it really is a great product.....

Competition is good - note that in the same respect AmpliTube For iPhone DSP is created by the same people who brought you AmpliTube 3 as well as AmpliTube Fender (latter seemed fitting here :) ) and the iPhone app guys here are no slouches with 11 iPhone apps in the catalog before AmpliTube was released for the platform.

It is shipping now in Europe, in a day or two in the US and Japan and will hit shelves at major retailers (not just musical gear retailers) soon too.

There's an "unboxing" video posted too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voCI-VS_mvw and one of it being unpacked and used immediately for an outdoor show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_LgY77vA8g
