Hey fender addicts,

If you dont mind, heres a link to my new song, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amOG2voFPpw
It was filmed 4 hours after the writting of the song, but it is just the way i want it to be, no accidental mistakes.

And by the way, its on a new youtube account, so if anyone would like to add me as a friend that'd be great 8)

that was good riley, a little more practice on it and i bet it will sound great!!! you might want to mess with your tone though, your pickups sound a little thin.

Wow, that is definately Curt Cobain/Nirvana inspired grunge.

You might want to try working out some lyrics and eventually a name for the song. It usually helps to think of an artists voice and how they would sing the song. Right now I'm thinking Heart Shaped Box and Curt's voice.

Anyway, it works for me when I'm stumped or otherwise bored of my song. I've been using Robin Zander/Cheap Trick for my (American Idol) song to make an otherwise boring song come off sarcastic and spooky. Maybe someday I'll do the voice. (In my original recording I discovered I sung it too low and needed a capo.) Or at least I'm hoping that is why I sounded to bad.

But I learned something!

Keep at it!

mustangtoo beat me to it but boy your idol was really coming through in that one. I loved how when you switched to your OD pedal you added that little single note to the riff which was way cool. Well done Riley!

Keep it up Riley. You are inspiring me to go ahead and post something soon on Youtube.

Unfortunately, I need some alone time to record. Also since my accident, my left shoulder and arm have been in a lot of pain. I am having difficulties fretting the last week or so. I haven not been able to play standing in about 1.5 or so weeks.
