Looking around for a great sounding analog delay for blues. Im trying out the mxr carbon copy, but heard many good things about the way huge aqua $@!&. Is the aqua $@!& any better?

It depends if you want more than 300ms of delay... the Aqua Pu55 won't go above that. 300ms is fine for most bluesy applications anyway, in my opinion... I like a little slapback sometimes, and some "is it there delay on this or not?!" subtle longer repeats for solos.

Check out the Electro Harmonix Memory Man,Memory Man Deluxe or Memory Boy,they are great pedals and you certaily get your money's worth.

i like my carbon copy, but it was expensive. also, i'm not very picky. i tend to just make whatever i get work for me. i'm sure i could have found something else but the mxr was the only new delay pedal they had that didn't have 1000 knobs on it.

I play mostly in Blues bands and rarely use delay. If Ii do it's only a little slapback echo.
