Ah man now you lot are tempting the hell out of me. Gordon Giltrap has a bird table made by Jim Marshall. JM even signed the base in Marshall script by hand, in black paint. This would top even that.

I'm just a little worried though. I strongly doubt that is the 2nd amplifier Jim Marshall ever made. Wasn't he mucking about with 18watt combo's in 62? Also notice that non of the oversplash flux from the original soldering has turned brown. You may be able to see it in this amp from 3 years before this one claims to be.
If you look on this amps input socket (which isnt original but is old) and the biggest capacitor (which is original) you can see darker spots of aged flux from soldering.



May not mean a lot but its got me cautious.
This amp isnt from musicground is it?

Presumably the seller himself could be verified? And in this case we could always ask The Man Himself. After all, the seller is conveniently located so's we could view the amp and then pop round the corner to Marshall's service centre to ask some leading questions...
