traded my old vox for a brandee-new hot rod deluxe! i saw it at one store. the owner gave me a decent offer for the vox and i told him i was going to check out a used hot rod at another store. on my way out the door i turned around and said to the guy "screw it. i'm 52 years old and i'm tired of buying used #$%&! gimmie the new one."

very sweet. i'm a happy guy. 8)

Nice one mate!

I just sold my DeVille finally on Monday past. Never once went down and always sounded great. We had many a good time and I miss it already but my heart is set on a Super-Sonic.

I used to use JJ 6L6's and a mix of Mesa and EH 12AX7's. My Hot-Rod did indeed sound fantastic with my Teles.
