Hey everyone! Need some quick advice...

My youth minister owns a PRS SE with two soap bar P-90's and he wants to change the bridge pickup out to a humbucker with a little more bite (but nothing too, too crazy).

I told him he should go with something like a Semyour Duncan JB or that Dimarzio 40th anniv. PAF. Those or the two I hear about all the time on this forum.

But would they offer good voicing to his P-90 in the neck position?
I'm up for any suggestion too, after all I've never tried as many pickups as some of you guys have....

Thanks!
-Jimbo

thats what I was thinking. When he said they were P-90s i was in doubt at first.

I just thought they were just some stock soapbars.

Anyways P-90's are single coil right? He's really looking for a humbucker because he's having trouble with the feedback caused by the 60-cycle hum and the effects he's running it through

duncans are always good, they make a p-90 humbucker mix thing thats pretty sweet if that interests him, they are especially cool if you put one in the neck as well
