Anyone in Manhattan see this in Bryant Park?

Walked past this yesterday...

I like art just as much as the next guy but this is just retarded. I apologize if you know the artist but i just don't get the point. Might just have stop and voice my opinion on my way to PTB.

She probably got a $30,000 grant to do this too.

I'm starting to feel like that as a taxpayer with no hope that the gov't will come to its senses, and put our tax money to much better use.

It's kind of disturbing. Are those real people? Do they get paid to walk around on that thing all day?

Wish I was a modern artist instead of being a sounds like hiss but with a P artist.

How I wish I could grab a gang of women that look like they were paid in Valium and put em on top of some Lego building.

Mind you they'll never make the synchronised swimming team. The choreography was appalling.

What a waste! I'm a artist who moonlights on a part time basis for AC Comics. Here's a sample of my stuff.

We have lame art here too in downtown Phoenix, but ours is a little more permanant. They built this big net thing that all the homeless people sleep under. I'll have to see if I can find a pic online.

Funny, they talk about cutting police and fire jobs to reduce the budget, but they're not allowed to touch money set aside for city art. Pretty dumb.

I guess it does look better at night, when you wouldn't want to be hanging out down there lol.

Looks cool at night when its lit up... maybe you can lobby for them to take only half your tax dollars.

VERY NICE work Jeffo. Agreed... 60s Marvel thing going on.

WTF was that? I like creating things and drawing and music and such, but good heavens! That's just as bad as the wall of pee at the art institute of modern art downtown where I'm at. Yes, you read right...
a wall of pee...
glass jars...
full of pee ...
on a wall.

That and one called, "aluminum and fiberglass" (a piece of siding from a garage plastered on a wall).

Makes me want to puke...

Hey wait a minute...

Gets a glass bottle...

BARF

Now pay for it. LOL
