i have a 76' fender mustang and i need some more information i dont have any pics of it but i do know the color and condition it is candy apple red with a sparkling white pick guard it needs some new paint and strings and it needs to be refinished how much do you think it is worth :?:

Listen to the guys, if you refinish it you are going to cut the value in half. The Blue Book list it for $1,300 in mint condition but I would believe you could get over a grand for it.

but there is just one problem the paint is chipped off and im not sure if i should get a professional restorer to do it cuz im not sure if that will decrease the value

if you are worried about resale value, don't paint it. original paint, no matter how bad is worth more than any refin.

its not really the resale value, my mom had it when she was a kid and she gave it to me so i just want it to look nice without hurting the value alot
