Is it really worth the money? 65 jaguar, almost 10 grand. I mean, sure, if I had the money I'd definetley buy it, but dont you reckon there going a bit over the price range?

In the letters section of a guitar magazine I have from 1987, someone is griping about an ad he saw for a genuine Hendrix 1962 Strat played by Hendrix himself. The owner wanted to sell it for $15,000 because Jimi allegedly did a poo on it onstage one night. Is it worth it? :lol:

The Blue Book of guitars new edition list a Jaguar 62-65 in mint condition as going for $3,500.

In my opinion is not worth it. Only if you think like investment (in few years 20+ can be worth more money). But I would invest in other things, here are to many risks involved.
