any idea why i can't get stuff from the Fender store shipped to Canada?? I order parts from stores and websites in the US everyday and never have an issue getting stuff sent here... i tried to order some items from the Fender store only to discover at the end of the whole process that they don't ship to Canada...?? Russia i could see... but don't ship to Canada?

Must be one of these reasons:

1. Fender doesn't like money.
2. Fender doesn't like Canadians
3. There's a darn good reason.

It could be customs issues. Maybe Canadian customers get hit with duty on items and sometimes don't want to pay. Maybe the loss and damage to Canadian shipments makes doing business prohibitive.

I'm sure the exclusion isn't arbitrary on Fender's part. I don't know anybody who doesn't like Canada or Canadians. :)

ditto
his point is, and I agree, we order from every other company, with no problems.

to be fair, I think kgerry posted a valid response. Not stupid at all. peace.

I just think Fender probably has a good business reason for not extending shipping services to Canada.

I purchased an Americal Standard here in Canada and wanted to register the guitar on line through the Fender site. I couldent because when it asked for the country Canada was not an option. I dont get it

Erm - I think he meant it's "pretty stupid" that Canadians can buy other stuff from across the boarder but not from Fender's website. I don't think he was saying kgerry's post was stupid.

Though I stand to be corrected...

Cheers - C

Be more impressive if I could have spelled "border" correctly. Oh well: too late to go back an edit it, now you've quoted my post...
