I am a happy camper right now. A local team that I support just won the Icelandic Championship in Handball in an odd game.



Haukar will have teams in all the top leagues (both men and women) in the three top Ball sports in Iceland, Football (soccer) Handball and Basketball, next season. So six teams in all.

Congrats! Being from Norway myself I know that Iceland has taken quite a beating lately. Economy went down the drain, and it probably didn't help that your monster volcano could erupt any time... Let's hope it cools off;)

My local soccer team has several players from Iceland and they've always been known to be a tough bunch.
