So, I have an ESP-LTD B155 and a Fender Rumble 100. I'm tryin to get a sound with more presence and another one good for slapping, I mean, very metallic, bright but strong. I have thought of getting a Digitech Bass Squeeze or some other compressor, any suggestions??

Free bump. You'd think there would be a bass player on here somewhere.

its alot easier than you think. in fact, what you'd assume is probably correct. bump up the mids, and treble for any cut you may need

I would guess that the bass players are probably hanging out in the three bass oriented forums here?

oh theres bass players on the forum! but don't assume all of them play or like slap bass. My pet peeve is when people see me with a bass and ask for some "sweet slap stuff". I don't play it... just don't. Perhaps theres just not a lot of slap playing bass players.

Sorry can't really help with the topic question...
