Got my flights (finally!) sorted for Download Festival @ Donington.

£31 for a 5 day return from Belfast to West Midlands with Ryanair!

Everyone else I know has paid £100 - £ 130!

It's a damning statement of our populations stupidity. I'm sat here watching it and I cant believe whats happening regarding UKIP getting so little. Surely the one eyed idiot has proved time and time again we need to be as far away as possible from anything that labour has advocated during their dictatorship.

Though I am delighted that the BNP aren't doing any good. They haven't gained anymore than 1900 odd in any area. Surely they must realize that we've sussed em out as skinheads in suits. The best thing they could do is go away and let the adults do their jobs.

The General Misdirection is always good for a laugh. Just sat here watching em all on tv. You can see it in their eyes, the hope. The "pick me to be the next theif to steal from you" expression.

Anyone who wants to be in government has no right getting into power.

 Since he survived I think it is absolutely vital to laugh about that crash. Talk about "hoist by your own petard" - apparently his own election banner he was dragging wrapped itself around the tail and brought it down. Perfect!

To CC: RyanAir? Just remember to bring a quid for the toilet, that's all. Or a milk bottle... :D

You've factored the volcano into your travel plans, I hope...? :|

Cheers - C

Niki: 110% agree mate. The whole thing is a joke, wish I hadn't have sat up and watched it all night. Wrecked, bored and as always mis-led!

Ceri: Running the risk of the volcano I'm afraid. As is everyone. Here's hoping! My parents have each flew to Glasgow and Manchester in the last 2 weeks ok and my sister is away to a hen-night in Manchester today and she was ok getting over. Lets just hope that the volcano keeps it's mouth shut til after the festival! Ryanair flights really are cheap as chips though, if anything's going to crash it'd be one of their parafin budgie's!

I am overly excited about it now! Can't wait!

Poor old Nigel, it's like something from Billy Smart's circus. Like so much of his campaign. I'd have loved to have seen him win. I reckon that would have been four years of pure comedy coupled with a bit of common sense.

I like Ryanair but if you have any aspirations of imbibing alcohol on the plane you have to call them Millionair. It costs a bloody fortune, 60Euro last time just to get tipsy. Which you need to do to take your mind off the bolts rattling out of the wings.

I dunno why they put lifejackets under the seat. What a utter waste of money. 30,000 feet and you jump out of a plane, if hypothermia or suffocation doesnt do you in on the way down, the sea will. Either hitting it or freezing in it.

They should put a big knife or a cyanide pill under every seat. :P

All said and done, you couldnt get the ferry then the bus for £30 could you. I got a return from John Lennon to Bergamo for £60. I was impressed with that deal.

They say its the safest way to travel till you crash. I once knew a bloke who hated sitting anywhere near a door on account of the greater likelyhood of getting sucked out if some berk opened it during the flight!

:? Like that happens a lot!

There were no lifejackets under the seats last time I flew Ryanair. That space was occupied by the passangers who hadn't paid the seat suppliment.

Trying to remember if I've ever met more depressed crew than on Ryanair. Must be catastrophic for your self-esteem to have decided work as aircrew was the best you could aim for in life - and then discover you couldn't even get a job somewhere better than Ryanair. My heart goes out to them - soon as they pay me a giving-a-damn suppliment, that is.

Cheers - C

Irelands worst air disaster occured early this morning, a two seater Cesna plane crashed into a cemetery, Irish search and rescue workers have recovered 1846 bodies so far but expect that number to rise as digging continues into the night
