As Topic,

anyone has any suggestions.

Budget wise would be in the thousands if neccessary. I am not too sure about music instruments, but just wanted to learn, I want to learn blues or smth like that.

You don't need thousands. I guess I should be recommending Fenders on this site, but I'g go for a Takamine G series - a great acoustic for beginners or intermediates... medium size, easy to play, low action, cutaway, built-in tuner & preamp.

the Fender acoustics are pretty damn good for beginners and will sound even better with your progression!

Welcome to the Forum junowah! Acoustic guitar is what you should look for, I don't think there is such a thing as an Accustic Guitar.

If you don't mind spending about $500, I would strongly recommend Guild GAD25. It's all solid mahogany dreadnought with a case. And Guild is owned by FMCI.

Hello everyone,

I think you can consider me a super beginner. I'm planning to have guitar lessons but wanted to buy a guitar first... So I'll be considering your suggestions and consult them with my friend. Good thing I joined the forums. 8)

Buy a "cheap" guitar, and you will regret it. It will be hard to play (the strings will be set up high off the fretboard and will cut right in to your fingers), hard to keep in tune, start you developing bad habits that will almost never be returnable, and then you'll have to buy the guitar-you-should-have-bought-in-the-first-place. Put together as much money as you think you can afford, add $100, and then buy the best that the $figure will get you. Look at Gibson, Guild, Takamine, Taylor, and Martin (my pick). Don't get any other (oh boy, here come the flames). I have a figure that I think is the minimum to spend, but the flames from the previous sentence makes me wary to recommend.
