It's a slippery s l o p e when you begin to segregate. It leads to flamers, arguments, splits and cliques. It also leads to snobbery and a sense of entitlement. Been there, done that. No thanks.

I personally wouldn't want to be part of an 'elitist' forum. I'd feel bad for the, "newbees" or those who don't make it under the criterion 'wire' so to speak, etc.

It would be far simpler when a troll is recognized to completely ignore the post except if one feels so inclined, to report it to Brad. If this philosophy is strictly adhered to by 100% of us 100% of the time, the likelihood of troll activity will shrivel and die where word would get around that the Fender Forums aren't a breeding ground for these knuckleheads and their drivel. Let's face it, no matter where you go on the web, they will always be there so at least here, we can all stick close together on this point. If for nothing else, we will be upholding our own high standards and not sinking to theirs.

Whom ever is in charge of the consorship filter needs to lighten up. This is getting rediculous.

Nah.. Ignore. Otherwise it will put people off.

Good idea though Tanner :)

What would be cool though, is to update the user info for Facebook and Twitter.

Is there a Facebook page for Fender Forum Members? If there isnt, I think we reserve the opportunity to Brad to make one

PLEASSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

:D :D :D :D

Tanner, have you considered the possibility that the elite forum already exists, but that you just haven't been invited?

I'm all for an elite forum clique, but if it would have me for a member, I wouldn't want any part of it.

I'm with Nik and the others who are against being exclusive. I'm one relatively new guy who is very glad that there was no lock on the door when i came on board!

Best to just leave the neryeds alone, I've noticed when we've had this kind of thing in the past, the good one's stay and if you ignore the plonkers, they get fed up and move on. Or if the pain persists, click that little report thingy in the top right corner. No, not now, not now.
This as always been sorted in the past, without forming private clubs, even if they do exist outside the forum, there is no need for them within it. It would lead to something negative to what we are all about.
Stay loose guys and do your thing, the plonkers can't live with that.
Such is my view.

Are you talking about the word spelled s and then l, o, p, e? I've had that word censored by the software a few times too. Bizarro! (EDIT: man, it won't even let me write it with hyphens between the letters!!!)

Someone educate me: is that a rude word somewhere in the world? What does it mean? To me it is just a surface at an incline - no...?
