wow i have never seen someone explain it that way. the way i try to teach it is by dumping a bunch of distortion on at first and trying to get that thumb to touch the string immediately after cutting at it with the pick. another tip is if your looking to do like zakk wylde type big bent p harmonics use three fingers to bend the string instead of just one. for example if you are doing one on the fifth fret have your ring finger on the fifth and middle on the fourth with the index on the third. then you have more finger strength to controll the string


a couple years ago i watched someone do this and was like why didnt i that before! and later watched zakk and he did it this way

Let me get this straight it is not cheating it is not lip syncing? This is the whole problem with the music business today, and now they want to leak it over into our part of the woods. Choke up on your pick and just puck down and catch the string with a piece of flesh and pick- it is not rocket science. Oh and do it up and down the string at certain points to find the sweet spots where they jump out. I can now say I have seen it all.
