I'm thinking about doing the "freakin' Laser beam" mod on my strat... love that song and loved the video.

Planet P "why me" was a cool forgotten tune to.

A little known reason as to why Gibson guitars are so expensive :D . That song takes me back to when I was a kid. I didn't even think that anyone else knew who Aldo Nova was.

I've been feeling very nostalgic lately.

Pull out the old Juno... please post a recording of you and the Boys playing it.

Enjoy! and Rock On!

I saw this video just a few weeks ago on one of the VH1 1 hit wonders or I love the 80's something like that. lol I decided to learn this song that night, didn't take too long, pretty easy song.
I looked up the monkey on your back video on youtube that night too, another cheezy video lol.

On the classic rock station we listen to at work (only one we don't fight over!) they have been playing this track a lot, also Ball and Chain, so I was thinking either Aldo died or he is is planning a tour. I don't think he died.

Hahahahah Aldo Nova. My dad was quizzing me one day on "classic tunes" and hes like, bet you can't name this song.

Blew his mind when I knew the band and the song name.

he was a replacement vocalist for styx for a while too.And since we're rolling with cheeseball Canuck 80's rock(that is somehow still good,):

I saw Aldo Nova open for UFO on the Mechanix tour at the San Francisco Civic. All in all, not a very good show (and that includes UFO). Especially considering that Aldo Nova's leopard catsuit was outright disturbing ...

A lot of things about 80's rock are disturbing!! but some great tunes from that era too. back to the 'golden age of Canadian rock':

Back when MTV actually played music videos they had to fill 24hours, so you'd actually get strange and cool stuff like that (in addition to all the vids they played in "heavy rotation"). Too bad that for the last decade MTV has been nothing but crappy reality shows.
