If your fingertips hurt that's okay. They are supposed to. That means you are toughening up the skin and the pain should go away in a few weeks. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum and good luck on your journey with your new ax. Remember the longer it is in your hands the better you will be, but it is a road that has no end.

Hi.
I'm new too and a shy person....so please be kind with me.
I saw that the new members are posting here so...I came too.

I play guitar since my 7 years old....it was a gift from my beloved (now deceased) dad .

What I do for living has nothing to do with music...I wish I could only play
music all day long..... :)

I'm glad I found this forum....have been lurking for a while....only now got the
courage to register.

Mariana

Hi Mariana, Welcome to the forum, have fun here and don't be afraid to ask any questions, if you have any. Can you show us your guitar? we would all like to see it.
Anyway, good to have you with us. :D

Welcome to all the new guitar players, and I'll say what a guy once said to me over 40 years ago,"you will become frustrated trying to learn how to play, and just about the time you're ready to throw it out the window, something will click and make sense, and then you will want to learn more."
