I've been lurking these forums for years, and a member for a year and a half. Got back into guitar 6 years ago. As a 43-year-old, old fart, I find great information and amusement in these discussions. It is a good place to visit between teaching, life, and improving my guitar skills.

Well, it's replaced my Tele I modded and sold (2004 American Standard, Texas Specials and a Strat Texas Special mid). I missed it. Had to pick this up. Fits me perfect, but am considering routing a channel for a mid (Twisted Tele neck pickup I have). This one will not meet the fate of the other, she's a keeper.

Take heart, Rader. There are farts way older than 43.

How about that MXR Dyna Comp? Does it really add something? Been thinking about getting one.

It took me a while to appreciate it. But after it collected dust for a few years dusted it off and gave it another go. I had originally heard one with a custom chambered 6 pound Gibson Les Paul with P-90s through the same amp, and was blown away- got it home....not so much. But now, with a couple different guitars, it gives the GA-5 a little more somthin'. Don't get me wrong it's an outstanding amp to begin with.
