I want to be truly able to express myself through music.
I will be where I'll deserve to be.

I hope to have at least one collection of songs recorded so that when i'm pushing up the daisy's my wife and kids can listen to it if they like and remember how good they had it while I was alive. Don't need to make money off of it, just music and a recording job i'm proud of.

Well, in ten years I'll be pushing 70 so still being able to play will be enough for me. :D

When I saw the subject of the post I immediately thought... "Still above ground would be nice!" 8)

I hope to achieve some level of proficiency... enough that some younger person might hear me and think, "I wish I could play like that!" That would be cool! :D

Hopefully I'll have my own band or something. I'd at least like to be good enough to make something of a living from playing music.

The best part about ten years from now is that I'll be finished with school. :D

well, i quit doing drugs awhile back. i still drink lots of beer and smoke. i really just hope i'm still alive.
as far as playing, i just want to be in our family band doing covers for anyone who might want to listen. i could care less about the money. just watching women dance and have a good time is alright for me. yep, watching women dance.

I love that last part "I will be where I'll deserve to be." That's a great attitude. Guitar for me is something that definitely shows that you get out of it what you put into it. As for myself in 10 years I will be able to play my favorite songs and maybe even write a few of my own as well as teach my daughters how to play. I do it simply as a hobby and for my own personal enjoyment. That doesn't mean that I'm not passionate about it but that I just play for myself.

I'd like to participating in the open jams hosted by the San Antonio Blues Society on at least a monthly basis.

I'd also like to learn the entire Muddy Waters repertoire. 8)
