Once again, thanks everyone for the welcomes!

I need Someones opinion though, I found a cheap cyclone that is in great condition, are they any good for say, lighter rock with a hint of distortion if they're tuned in drop D?

Hi there,

I'm new here too, the difference for me is I'm new to Fender too and hoping to learn a lot. I've been searching around for a place that feels friendly and welcoming, feels like this might be the place :)

Welcome! As I said in my post I lurked around here for years. Your post inspired me to lurk no more. There is a lot to gain by hanging around.

Hey guys, I'll have pics up over the weekend, and I ordered a nice birthday present for myself today; I got a cyclone coming next week from a local music store. I think after I get the cyclone and finish the project baritone, I'm gonna be done for a while unless I find a strat-VII.

Oh, and I finally managed to learn a song with correct tabs meant for a baritone: "I will not bow" by Breaking Benjamin. It's an amazing song, and I'm not gonna sugar-coat it, the lead singer has a BEAUTIFUL paul reed smith.

Alright, I'm gonna go try to nail this solo, it's been a great birthday so far. Have fun everyone.
