Dear Fenderphiles,

As many of you know for several months I was GASsing for a new guitar. Well, I finally got it. So now I am turning my attention to a little issue I have had with my CV 60. I have not had any major issues with it, except when I play unplugged, it has a little springy noise to it and the sustain is just not like my other two guitars. I know they both have a much bigger tremolo block in them.

I have been looking at this and wondering if this will help with my problem, do I also need new saddles, or just get a whole new tremolo?

I am thinking that the "Import" block is the right one for the Squier, but not sure.

or just replacing the whole tremolo with a Callaham tremolo. Does anyone know which one would fit on a Squier CV 60? I am thinking that the Mexican Version's holes would line up with the CV 60 without any modifications, but I am not sure?

Any help would be appreciated. I do not want to screw up this guitar. It is an awesome guitar, however, I feel it just needs a little tweak to make it better.

I would go with a complete Callaham replacement. When in doubt call them and ask them.

Chet,

Thanks for the advise. I'll call or e-mail them to see what they say.
