The SG's are great- and hope you got a good price! You'll have a lot of fun with it. Guaranteed.

True. I got a good price on it. about the same cost as a new epiphone so Im happy. Seems like the previous owner had it set up pretty decent. The action is pretty low with no buzzing so Im happy.

Im going to take the hot rail pickup back out of my strat now so if anybody needs one let me know. Ill make you a good deal!

Nice addition. Love the color. I am not much of a SG fan (just prefer LP's and V's by Gibson), but glad that you are happy with it. ROCK ON!!!

The hardest thing to get used to was the fact that the neck joined the body at the last fret. It threw me off for quite awhile until I got used to it.

Yeah I can relate. It feels like the third fret is about a foot further away compared to the strat

Congrats, she's a beauty. Dig in and play HB stuff.

'Bought a lovely "faded brown" 2 years ago, replaced knobs and put on chrome covers and an engraved truss rod cover to doll her up a bit. What an excellent guitar, and a bargain to boot!

Big SG fan here... congrats. An SG Special Faded was the first Gibson I ever bought. I liked the light weight and double cutaway design so much that I traded the Faded Special for a Standard during the price drop last summer. An SG Classic with P-90s came along later. I love 'em both. 8)

Good call. I love SGs. I have a '79 Std was my number one throughout the '80s and '90s.

Now you've got all the bases covered.
There ain't no style of music you can't play.

Well all my guitars are different, but there are styles I can't play--but it ain't the fault of any specific guitar... :D
