ive seen, heard, and probably been spoken to by ghosts..... quite often when im home alone and im done here in my basement i will hear someone walking around upstairs and every time i hear this my dog, hound mix breed (NOT easily scared), will come running down here with his tail between his legs and just lay down next to me.... ive also heard my name said in the middle of the night when nobody else would be in my room..... this is made much creeper for me because my bed is 5 ft off the floor so its not like i can just vacate to the couch quickly!.....

this is the worst though.... my sister used to have this little Bratz video camera.... one time, upon returning from vacation, she discovered a rather disturbing video.... a it was of our basement.... with blood on the walls.... im shaking as i type this because of the memory

I dont believe in ghosts as them being the souls of the departed. I believe its a far more deceptive force at work.

I've seen far too much weird stuff to dismiss the notion. The majority of stuff is quite normal (not paranormal ).

I live in the supposedly most haunted county in England. Never seen anything here, my back garden does have a real bad vibe about it though.

Dont know where Niki lives but the most haunted counties in England traditionally are either Yorkshire or Lancashire unless others know better and they are about 200 miles north.

Now "the Yorkshire Ripper" thats another story.
