Being up here in the northwoods of central WI we don't have many of the chains the rest of you are discussing.

But we do have a place here with an AWESOME burger deal, they call it the "Not for Wimps" Cheeseburger. It's a 1 lb (after cooked weight) of glorious Angus Beef, your choice of 2 cheeses and jalapenos if you want it. Served with a mountain of fries for $8.

It's heaven on earth I tell ya :D

we used to do a show here called "Man vs. Food" I remember doing one episode where the guy went to "the heart attack Grill" holy cow... he ordered this burger that was pretty scary even for me who loves the meat of dead animals. I think it was in Texas. Any folks there ever heard or have gone to that place?

The show still airs... watched that episode just recently. I don't remember where it was. I know he did a 72 ounce steak at The Big Texan in Amarillo.

In this humble opinion, arguably one of the finest burgers to be had is available at the Harley Davidson Cafe in Las Vegas.

When out there on business (corporate facility nearby and 'do not gamble), that is the fave build your-on-their-cheeseburger.

And Foster's Lager on tap.

Good enough for this picker.

I just gilled burgers 80/20 beef with ChiChi's hot salsa spooned on top and then cheddar cheese melted on top of that. Real good.

Well if you ever come to Seattle my favorite place to get a burger is at
Dick's Drive In.

There's one in Lake City, one in the U-district, and one on lower Queen Anne hill. I grew up going to the one in Lake City.

Man! They have the best burgers, home made fries, the real old fasioned milk shakes.

A Dick's Deluxe, fries, and a shake...mmmmm.....now I just made myself hungry for that! :D

Steaks - Vegamót in downtown Reykjavík (Iceland) always have nice steaks. Once tried Kangaroo steak there. Mmmm Skippy *DROOLING*

Hamburgers - Búllan always has these american sweaty burgers that are the best hangover cure ever.

American Style has some nice burgers.

Vitaborgari is a dirty joint but in the state that most people are in when they are there nobody minds.

And again Vegamót has some nice burgers too.

Anyone here a fan of the cheese inside the burger so when you bite in it's all melty? I made those the other night and my wife and stepson loved them. It was my first time and think I made the patties that go around the cheese too big, ha ha.

Kinkaid's or Billy Miner's in Fort Worth...great googly-moogly, those are good burgers!

For a chain restaurant, you gotta try Burger Box...almost as good as the afore-mentioned places, just greasier!
