what are some early documented examples of pearloid pickguards being used on 50's/60's strats, teles and jazzes?

by 1964 mustangs were using them, but i don't recall seeing them on other fenders from this era at all - lots of white, black and tortoise but no pearloid.

I believe they did. The reissue 57 and 62 both have pearloid, I would hope this was historically accurate. I seen some early duosonics with them too, as early as 56.
