Without boring everybody with the details, hard times have come. I mentioned selling my Strat and my wife says "No way!" I said, "If it came down to our mortgage (which I don't have, I rent) and selling the guitar, then would it be alright? She said "No." Ha Ha. Nothing better than a good woman who loves you.

Sounds like she has her priorities straight. I own a home. I wish I was in a 10 by 12 room, where I could play all day, instead of slaving away, trying to preserve my american dream.

Congrats on finding a good woman.

Yeah, she knows how much this guitar means to me. I know I'd regret selling it. I'm just trying to fix our situation as fast as I can. I'm being practical. Sometimes practical needs to take a back seat. Our finances will work themselves out. They always do.

I'd hold off selling my last guitar as long as possible, however it would NEVER take precedence over keeping a roof over my head or food on the table.

Gotta take care of the family BUT, is selling it really going to make the big difference in the long run. Thank God for the women that keep perspective on stuff like that. My wife would do the same thing. She got mad that I traded in an old solid state amp for a new(er) tube amp instead of just keeping it for the 100 I got for it. ha ha.

That is a good woman you have and my prayers and mojo go out to you to help you with your financial problems. To be honest it might buy you sometime but maybe you could ask your landlord if you could double up or be late as you just hit a financial rut. Dont think guys want there tenants out so fast as they have to go through a few months of loss.
