Who have experienced the wrath of the storms.

"This tornado was enormous,’’ said Governor Haley Barbour, who grew up in Yazoo County, a county of about 28,000 people known for blues, catfish, and cotton. The twister wreaked “utter obliteration’’ among the picturesque hills rising from the flat Mississippi delta, the governor said.

Tornadoes also were reported in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Alabama. The storm system tracked northeastward, downing trees in northwest Georgia and damaging an elementary school roof in Darlington, S.C., late yesterday."

Hop is fine! The weather passed to the northeast of me but our brothers and sisters in Mississippi caught "Hell". Hoping thumbs and family are fine along with everyone else in that region. It was a category 4 or 5 tornado that hit them. Much Mojo from the swamplands of Louisiana to them all!!

Yeah, I hope you guys are all OK, hopefully they'll check in, so we know.

Sometimes things get hectic, and even the people who are fine get too busy to check in at the computer.

I'm fine. The weather missed us by about 30 miles! Got some of my dads family in Madison parish though! Nothing major, just some hail damaged cars and some roof damage. It leveled a church a few blocks over though.

I've yet to get up to yazoo and see the damage 1st hand but some of the pics i've seen are jaw dropping!

Never got your message Hop, did get one from CC checking up.

I appreciate the mojo for my fellow statesmen in this trying time. A fine group you all are! 8)
