"It might get loud in here" I watched this yesterday on Starz and thought it was inspiring and entertaining. Anyone else see it? If so what were you thoughts of it. I hope this hasn't been posted before (probably so) I guess I will get blasted for posting a previously post topic. OH well. Anyway the movie had Jimmy Page and Edge in it and alot of GUITAR!

Here's a site about the moive http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1229360/

Don't know a thing about the movie but I know a thing or two about getting a little bit loud.

If we're too loud you're too old.

Sometimes it's if we're too quiet you're too old (and deaf!)

A pal loaned a copy a couple months ago of "It Might Get Loud."

Inspiring, informative, excellent; 'immediately went out and bought a copy of the DVD.

Highest recommendation.

Got a copy as a gift. Watched it a few days ago. Pretty cool stuff. The Edge is money. Jack White is deeper than I thought. Rock on.

i'm quite sure there is a "loud". i've played my whole life without ear plugs. i shoot without earplugs. 44 mag, 308 and such. everyone tells me i'm an idiot and they are right i guess. i live beside DFW airport. it's this stuff that makes me appreciate quiet so much. good ole country side and a campfire. i hate this stinkin' city. i really, really do.
some day, some day. we'll get back in the sticks for good.

"It Might Get Loud" is the correct title. Sorry. I enjoyed some of the history on Jimmy Page the most and the love and passion for the guitar Page, Edge and Jack White all have. I think about all the forum members can relate to that.

I would have to say that after watching it, I became a bigger Jack White fan. I wasn't sure at first why he was chosen for this. But after watching it, I gained a lot of respect for him due to his outlook on music, and as a performer.

The most enjoyable and telling scene was how thrilled Page was while flipping through some 45's, finding, disecting, then air guitaring to Rumble by Linc Wray.

jaknzax, when the movie came out last year a thread appeared that was up for a few weeks and for the most part all of the reviews were good. Glad you liked the movie Bro. 8)

I just stopped in 2 stores by me last week looking for the DVD and neither had it. So you are saying it is on cable already, now I have to check out for it though I still want a DVD copy. I cant see me doing anything but enjoying it though I felt like Shredd6 and was puzzled to why they picked Jack White but this is the third time I heard someone speak highly of him in this film.

Jack White is an incredible musician / artist. Very unique-I dig it.
