We used to have to have a permit to carry concealed but that was lifted recently.

Our CCW permit entitles the possessor the right of reciprocity in those neighboring states which also permit concealed carry and who recognize the Arizona-issued permits.

The revised Arizona statute does not offer that privilege.

Correct, sir.

Unless you are a "prohibited person" as defined by federal law or the Arizona Revised Statutes.

I am in total agreement with what Arizona is doing, and i will also add, that i feel that it is absolutely criminal, the awful manner in which our pesident has responded to Arizona governer brewers requests for help in these issues.

P.S. I live in Wisconsin, and currently, we are still one of the only two states left in the USA, where concealed carry permits are not allowed for the general public. In wisconsin, only open carry is allowed. I personally feel, that this is ridiculous.

The only occasions that I carry openly is when I'm packing one of my "sheen-guns"......

I can't seem to find a holster for them.

I like the map that shows what states have what. You notice My home state of Maryland they like issue permits to nobody or should I say Socialist Republic of Maryland is yellow, They like issue permits to nobody. Less then a hundred a year issued or renewed.
The restrictions work real well thats why Maryland is ranked 3rd. in Murders 3rd in Robberies, 11th. in Aggravated assault and our population is 19th in the U.S.
Proof that all there stupid Gun Laws do nothing but get the votes from stupid people that don't have a clue. Criminals don't have to worry that some one may defend them selfs. And to many of these Animals taking a life means nothing. Even if they go to jail there out in twelve years or less.

What this a M4 and a AR15 both 5.56NATO's Our boys in combat need to carry 7.62Nato's if there going to have to use a NATO round. I'm not a fan of 223's. You hear stories of soldiers hitting there target repeatedly we the 223's to keep them down. 50 yards or more the short barreled M4 is questionable
Give me the old 30-30 or 308

First, I think that if you're going to be carrying a concealed weapon, then you should have a permit for it. This separates the law abiding citizens from the criminals IMO. Now concerning the immigration law, I am 100% behind it. I don't know if you're aware of this, but one of our state reps here in R.I. tried to introduce the same bill before our state senate but was immediately shot down. The speaker of the house, wouldn't even let him bring the bill forth. No wonder since this is a election year and many of those idiots are up for re-election and don't want to lose the Hispanic vote.
And what gets me is that the Arizona law is nothing more then a requirement to enforce and follow the Federal law.
I watch the news last night and they were talking about a Rep in PA. that wants this in that state. They interviewed a 18 year old said he and his family have been living as illegals and fear and stay as back in the shadows as much as possible. This teen said he can't join the Army as he always wished to do because the whole Family are illegal aliens and been here since he was two and now that he's out of High school he don't know what to do. Well I'am sorry but if this kid has been living in PA. for 16 years going to public school as a illegal alien who paid for that education? A case of tax payer dollars being used by those who don't contribute and live in the underground economy. A student in our School district cost over 9,000 a year in tax payer money and who is paying to educate children of illegal aliens? Then add on all the Social program assistance. You dob't know who is who even as a friend of mine on the local Police force said most of the Spanish males that they have issues with use there Mother's Maiden name when asked. He said this is a common practice. The state of Maryland has been a sanctuary state handing Drivers licenses to anyone and registering them to vote with the Democrat installed motor voter law. It was found that they were giving out well over 1000 license a week to non english speaking people before the Feds put a kibosh to it two years ago.

I've heard these yarns hundreds of times from gunstore commandos all across the country. But whenever I query them as to how long they spent "in the bush" and how much "trigger time" they actually have with these weapons I invariably get the deer-in-the-headlights stare and they swiftly change the subject.

I have seen that look my self and still don't like the 223 round. I don't have much experience only been handling firearms for about 35 years assisted in setting up of many test for the Military / University contracts for ballistic testing of personal amour as part of our rigging work. Two times to Iraq, once Kuwait, Israel, Jordan under military contracts. Done with that stuff last time I come home through Landstuhl Regional via the Army trans with serious staff infection.
Also been known to do My own reloading. Trigger time three hours plus a week at the range. Hunt as well and done so in four different countries. Got a Bear here in Maryland the first year of the drawing ( 7MM mag) single shot.
Yes" I have seen the look of a Deer in the headlights.

This is also why the Army is just starting to use the new version of the 5.56 the M855A1 is supposed to be an improved round and help with the problems mainly in the M4, will see.
But I am just learning these things
