The town of Fredrick Maryland has arrested a man and charged him with rape and child abuse, this guy was arrested in Fredrick Md. and deported back to Guatemala last year and three months ago he was arrested and deported from Arizona back to Guatemala. Now he is in jail back in Fredrick Md on these charges. Do the Feds do anything at the boarder. In this day and age they could close that boarded and check everyone with out a problem. These people sneaking across the boarder should be consider insurgence.
Companies found hiring them should be fined thousands per employee, that would help the debt and open jobs for others.
If theres no jobs, no free health care, no welfare assistance with out proof of citizenship the problem goes down.

CV- Looks like this is going to be the begining of the battle to answer the question, "Who owns America?".

Protesters are demanding we ignore our laws as easily as they have. Those who pay the bills are pitted against people who have openly broken the law.

And really, what choice does AZ have? If we dont assert ourselves, the payers will leave, like I did California.

We either fight or submit to "reconquista".

It's as simple as that.

The Federal government has failed out of political correctness they are ignoring the Constitution.

From the Constitution
Article IV - The States
Section 4 - Republican government

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

I am familiar with the stir this is causing, but I cannot figure out why anyone is upset with the government enforcing laws that have been in place for ages. I am all for this bill and wholehartedly support it. I don't have any issues with immagrants (from any nation or ethnicity), but I am frustrated with those who chose to live here illegally and consume tax dollars paid for and intended for US citizens (among other things). This could just as easily impact someone who is european as it would someone who was hispanic, italian, romanian, etc. It is NOT about race, it is about going through the proper channels to earn citizenship and protecting the legal citizens. It is not racial profiling if they are asking everyone for ID....which is nothing new. Maybe the imigration process needs to be revised, but in the meantime illegal is illegal in my eyes. I am gratefull for this new bill giving the police the authority and tools to enforce the law. The majority of AZ citizens agree with me, it is the rest of the country that is going nuts over it. I don't get it. To me, it is ignorant to think we should continue to ignore this issue.

From the AP.
(AP) Many of the cars that once stopped in the Home Depot parking lot to pick up day laborers to hang drywall or do landscaping now just drive on by.

Arizona's sweeping immigration bill allows police to arrest illegal immigrant day laborers seeking work on the street or anyone trying to hire them. It won't take effect until summer but it is already having an effect on the state's underground economy.

"Nobody wants to pick us up," Julio Loyola Diaz says in Spanish as he and dozens of other men wait under the shade of palo verde trees and lean against a low brick wall outside the east Phoenix home improvement store.

Many day laborers like Diaz say they will leave Arizona because of the law, which also makes it a state crime to be in the U.S. illegally and directs police to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal immigrants.

Supporters of the law hope it creates jobs for thousands of Americans.

"We want to drive day labor away," says Republican Rep. John Kavanagh, one of the law's sponsors.

An estimated 100,000 illegal immigrants have left Arizona in the past two years as it cracked down on illegal immigration and its economy was especially hard hit by the Great Recession. A Department of Homeland Security report on illegal immigrants estimates Arizona's illegal immigrant population peaked in 2008 at 560,000, and a year later dipped to 460,000.

I am getting in on this discussion a bit late as I have been on vacation...

I just want to say that some of the possible race and racial issues in the state of Arizona do not shock me, because if I am not mistaken, Arizona was the last state to acknowledge Martin Luther King Jr's birthday as a holiday...And if I recall correctly, they only did so after the NFL took away their opportunity at hosting a SuperBowl:
Tempe was originally chosen as the venue for Super Bowl XXVII. However, the NFL pulled the game away from Arizona after the league joined a massive, nationwide tourist boycott by various groups to protest the state’s refusal to recognize Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. After Arizona finally adopted the federal holiday in 1992, the NFL again began to consider Tempe. NFL owners voted to award Super Bowl XXX to Tempe, Arizona during their March 23, 1993 meeting.
--Taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl_XXX

Perhaps if the NFL disagrees with some of the new laws in Arizona, perhaps they will change them at that point...

It's long been my contention that this, back-door, will result in increased terror attacks over the next few years. Hope I'm wrong.......... 8) Mike

Nothing says keep off the grass like a nice wall of Tanks. Or perhaps a nice deterrent would be to set up a missile testing site like White Sands right on the border.
