Gibson attacking Fender? This could only mean one thing. Gibson knows Strats are better than LP's.

i found them really cheesy, but not for the reason of killing a strat.... i may try one of these out at a guitar center, but i definitely don't think i would have a use for it, but it still looks interesting to at least try

When I first saw the guitar online, I was like WOW  it's magic. Then I came back to reality, it's just another cheesy gimmick for the boys.

This has all been covered in two different threads in the Fender Lounge and the Stratocaster Lounge.

It would appear that Gibson is still feeling the "heat" of competion from that "little" company Leo Fender started up.
Gibson's purile attempt at humor signifies that there is a healthy rivalary between these two fine companies. And when Fender and Gibson compete, we benefit thru new and improved guitars of better quality than if they had not competed in the guitar buying marketplace.
Gibson makes some very fine guitars, many of them are legendary; it would seem logical, at least to me, that they should promote this and let their products speak for themselves. In other words - Gibson, grow up or take your ball and go home.

I think y'all need to lighten up- I thought it was funny, and I'm sure meant as a healthy competitive poke at Fender. Both companies make the finest and most widely used/recognized guitars in the world. Amen to be able to make a choice!

Just imagine if that guitar's software got a virus and your Pro-Tools got a virus at the same time. How would the 21st century musician make music? LOL
