Do you like music and/or TAB. I can only read TAB, I do not get the slightest bit of music. The only music I can read is percussion, and thats still bloody hard for me.

Riley tab is all you need to concentrate on, besides you cant read bends on regular sheet music.lol Here is a tip that will help you become a good tab reader. Really learn your chord voicings. When I read tab I really just follow the chords to see what position the riffs or licks are being played in so If I see an Am chord on top I look to see if it is in 1st,5th.8th,12th ,15th or wherever but it knowing your voicings helps bigtime.

You reckon? My music teacher says TAB is useless  ...Of course cause she likes to take things the hard way.
I can not read and play at the same time, I have to memorize it first, thats why its hard to learn solo's for me.

I think Tab is great for learning the patterns and positions on the neck for songs you want to learn. But just having the numeric notation doesnt give you the rythmic phrasing. So its important to be able to at least read the patterns of quarter notes, eighth, wholes, halfs... rests, staccatos legatos... all that stuff. Did that make any sense or is that stupid?

Personally I think in order to be a well rounded musician you need to be able to read and understand both.

TAB Hands down. Guess I'm not as much as a well rounded musician as I thought! 8)

Both are useful - Tab is great for quickly getting a handle on how to play something you already know in your head... but only a 'proper' music score can record the subtleties.

Of course the best thing of all is to be able to learn by ear. ;)
