Last night my buddy came over with his 97 Orville Les Paul,he had put a Burstbuster in the bridge. We plugged the guitar into my JCM 800 2204 and the sound was absolutely incredible, even with the amp on a clean setting you could raunchy if you really dug into the strings.I put the master between 1 and 2 and put the pre-amp on full and the sound it created was pure Dr. Billy Gibbons.I'm convinced now that if I ever buy a Les Paul it will be either an old Orville or an Epi.BTW he has brought it to various places to have minor tweaks done on it and wherever he brings it it draws a crowd of employees and/or guitar freaks.

guitslinger , that is how my epi sounds now , ok it's had all the elecctrics replaced and new pups (paf style, not hot ) but man it sounds so good , and all in it's cost me a fraction of what a gibby costs :)

Hey guys...I jammed that Orville today using my buddy's Traynor Custom Special YCS100H. Hard to beat that guitar for the price...I will be leaving the original neck pickup in it, it has a really nice smooth sound. I left Guitslinger's on Friday knowing that I'm going to be needing a severe amp upgrade! :P
