I really want to make one but i have a few problems

I need a singer(dont want to end up like nirvana...I cant sing and play :( )
I need a bassist ( I could convince a couple people to play it)
I need a drummer (sorta if I cant get the bassist I can get a friend who plays both bass, drum, and guitar)
And a name.(I cant come up with a name.)

Band name from your location shown under your avatar... "Looking Through"

It's sort of non-genre specific since you didn't say what you'd be playing nor to whom.

Well it seems you are in need of a lot of parts at the moment. I would suggest that you hook up with whom ever you are closest to at the moment be it a bass player or another guitarist then start to add the other parts. Do not be in such a rush to form a band just for the sake of forming one, take it serious and try to add the best talent and just as important chemistry you can find.

And always take into consideration the personalities of the band members. If they all rub each other the wrong way, you can be sure things will fall apart VERY quickly.

A lot of music stores have musician notice boards where people looking for bandmates can place ads.All you have to do is write down the types of music that you're into and what positions you need to fill. Some community papers and buy/sell/trade publications offer free space for musicians seeking bandmates-at least they do here-so maybe you could look into that.Even making weekly trips to a music store could be fruitful as you may meet someone who is in the same boat, sometimes the staff would know of musicians looking for bandmates as they usually have their fingers on the pulse of the local music scene.Hope this helps, good luck in your hunt for bandmates.

I want to play alternative or grunge.
What one of u posted earlier I do need a drummer becuase one that I know is not liked by my bassist/drummer/guitarist friend.I know the person I could persuade into doing it would be hard though.I would do that but there are some real creepy people that live hear. Also no CD store... But two guitar stores. One also Has a teacher who taught KC how to play.
