Oh my - yet another use for a traffic cone.

Meanwhile: what the heck kind of headstock have they cropped out of that photo? Bizarro.

Cheers - C

What a cool idea,I foresee a shortage of traffic cones in areas with a high density of guitar players.

Somehow... scratches in my black Stratocaster are an image that come to mind when I see that.

There'd be an easy way to deal with the hard edges left by cutting out the cones simply by covering the edges with the 1" foam insulating tubes used to put on 1/2" water pipes. These foam tubes are ideal as they're already slit lengthwise so they just slip over the edges and can be glued in place.

Ceri, it's one of these, a friend had one a while back. horrible guitar.
I could only find a good shot of one with a painted headstock, but...

Epiphone S series. started coming out when Gibson was trying to breathe new life into the Epi line. Glad they settled in the direction they're in now, lower priced Gibby's, rather than crappy knock-offs of other brands, which it looked like they wanted to do for a while. i wish they would put more focus on Epi's unique models, pre-gibson, the new Wiltshires are a step in the right rdirection
