The Telecaster! Even though in this poll its 2nd, when this question gets asked/polled again approximately 2-4 weeks from now, as it does every 2-4 weeks for the last few years, it may be on top once again....

 No votes for the Jazzmaster, I'm surprised! I thought it would be more popular than the Jaguar and especially more popular than the Mustang!

I've heard it as either Gear Acquisition Syndrome or Guitar Acquisition Syndrome

Hmmm....haven't played enough Fender to warrant a response. I just have a Squier.

However, I played a '72 tele with a strat headstock which had knobs and a body similar to a Gibson. Talk about identity crisis.

In the late 70ties a friend of mine bought a Fender Starcaster... when I told him it sounded great... he went to the store and bought it! I have tried to buy it from him but he refuses to sell it to me... he still got it... :(
For those of you who don´t know what a Starcaster looked like... here is an image I found on the web of one looking just like my friend´s guitar. I still think it looks and sounds cool...

That's a very interesting guitar, the only Starcaster I've heard of was that cheap Strat copy they sell at Costco's and such.

For the longest time, 'would have said Jazzmaster. What an excellent instrument.

Then, about 6 weeks ago, bought a '62 Reissue Limited Edition Thin Skin Shell Pink Jaguar.

What an excellent instrument.

I voted Strat. Not surprised it's winning, but I'm surprised it's winning by such a big margin.
