this may sound hokey and cliche, but I really feel honoured to be part of this group. This is without question one of the all time best forums on the web. there might be some with as good a community, but none with better.

I learn new stuff here all the time. I get turned on to new artists, and/or get reminded of old favorites. we get to hear new stuff from members, discuss ideas, technique, and shop.

even our political discussions are reasoned and respectful, for the most part. i can't imagine the smoking thread going the way it has on too many other forums.

I only hope i have offered some value too. There are so many knowledgeable and helpful people here, it is my favorite place on the web.

Was there some explanation of what he(**ahem I,**) was doing?

delaminating a bridge or pickguard? I really can't think of a good reason to stuff an acoustic into an oven. i have a friend who preheated his oven, then shuts it off, and alternated between freezer and warm oven to try get weather checking on a guitar he painted. I havent seen the result, so I assume it didn't work as he had hoped, or I am sure my email would have been inundated with photos.
