The Beatles in Germany.

Hey, are we missing someone behind the Vox Continental?

I wonder if any of the old AC 100s they used survived.I know that after their last concert in Florida on the 66 tour a local band won a couple of their Super Beatles and the heads survive to this day although the cabs fell apart years ago.Notice the Selmer combo beside Ringo's drum riser.

John Lennon switched off on that Vox for some tunes.

Apparently John used the Continental for only one song-I'm Down-and usually ran it through an AC30 instead of the AC100 or Super Beatle.

Those stage lights look bright as hell, right in the face.

It made sense to not keep the Voxes. The were made for U.S. voltage.

From what I got from Anthology was that for a while they were not hearable and their playing got sloppy which was one of the reasons they stopped touring

John also took this as an opportunity for some of his wit by subbing out "I want to hold your hand" for "I want to hold your gland"

What a cool photo, and an interesting perspective.

Black suits in all those white lights, must have been hot as hell.

No monitors, it's a wonder Paul has any voice left at all.

No wonder they stopped touring.
