Anyone own one of these fine guitars and if so could you tell me more about it?

http://www.gretschguitars.com/gear/inde ... 2=&q=&st=1

I got more GAS and I haven't even saved for my AV 52 RI or Super-Sonic head yet!

It's piling up!

Cheers!

CC- Dude, I want one. I carry a picture of one with me and look longingly at it during traffic stops. When I unload some of the stuff I want to get rid of, then I will get one.

CC- Search "gretsch green duo jet"on youtube. There's a vid of a recording over himself,
5 0r 6 tracks with one of these. Not sure if its green cause the room is dark. Very cool.

I usually dont like gold hardware, but on this, it works. If the Green Lantern was real, this would be his axe, no doubt.

Cheers Taurus man. I'm the same with gold hard ware but I like the overall green and gold 'Irish' look of this guitar. I've always fancied a Gretsch and since all_thumbs09 got his the other week I'm GASing big time!

George Harrison used a black Duo-Jet before he went to the Tennessean. You can hear the Duo-Jet on the first 2 Beatle albums.

I demo'd a Duo the same day I demo'd the 5120. The duo didnt have that "growl" I was looking for. Thats why I came home with this:

David Gilmour has been seen using a Duo for his solo's on "comfortably Numb" as well!

GAS overload? What's it gonna be? The 2.5K or the 3.4K guitar?

Its the 52 first, then a Super-Sonic, then the Gretsch.

52 I've wanted for years, Super-Sonic I need and Gretsch I've wanted since this morning,

Doesn't she sound right? I fancied myself last year with this beauty.

What is fun about these non expensive guitars is that you see it, you buy it. The "You want it" process is bypassed and you can run away with a top of the art instrument. Congrats all_thumbs09, and CC, go for the Gretsch.
Of course, I am still gassing for one of my Dream guitar, someday.
