Hey there forumites!

With forum member all_thumbs09 recently getting back behind the drum kit for a new band I was wondering how many of you play an other instrument apart from guitar and bass.

Personally I know a little piano and some sax but not enough that I could call myself a player of those instruments.

So what else, if anything, do you guys play?

Cheers!

CC

I'm comfortable in a band situation on guitar, drums and bass.

I can play some chords on keyboard, but not enough to call myself a keyboardist. And I just got a tenor sax recently, which I've been working on. I really look forward to the time when I can play it well enough to actually go to a jam with it.

I played Bb cornet in my high school band, started in grade 7. But it has been a LOT of years since I've touched a brass instrument.

We always had a nice piano in the house when I was growing up but I never really learned how to play it. Wish I had tried harder now.

I'm a bass player first and foremost but I also play some simple things on the guitar. I'm also a decent drummer but don't own a kit. And my second best instrument would be the harmonica. Technicaly I can play trumpet and baritone to but I haven't Played for 3 years.

Bass, harmonica, piano, mandolin and classical guitar. I like to do the multi-instrumentalist thing in bands whenever I can.

I can play enough drums to jam out a bit, just the basic beats and all. I took lessons from my brothers friend for about a year when I was 12yr old.

I can handle basic keyboard stuff,I have a multi-voice keyboard, synthesizer and an organ.I dabble on mandolin and ukelele,I have both but I'm not proficient enough to gig.I also play autoharp, can do a fair to middlin' job on drums and also play harp-that's harmonica not the stringed brute. The Mrs. says I play the fool quite well also.
