How about "Vintage Modern"

(I have an SCXD and a Band Master VM and neither really accomplishes true vintage or real modern. They have their own unique sound ... but its not some magic blend of At The Hop meets 100W Marshall Distortion tone.)

I like them, thats just a name to sell them. It's like prawn cocktail flavoured crisps here in the UK. They taste nothing like a prawn cocktail but they're still lovely!
