C.C. wow, what a great song, you have so much to say through a guitar. I don't have a technical knowledge but the only thing that I can refer to when I listened, is long cool solos of Carlos Santana. Like he once said, "When inspiration comes to you and you don't block it you can express yourself with soul" and that's what you did. There is two or three bends that made me loose my concentration but hey, as you said, blame it on the drinks. Cool song, C.C. Now we want to hear more. :D

Thank you very much guys!! I appreciate it.

From Ceri's suggestion I was speaking with my friend Vicente today, he is a Venezuelan percussionist who I work with a lot, and I asked him to add something to the track. Once I cut it in half and add a few variations I'm going to send the bare bones to ABS for a bass line and will most likely keep the whole thing instrumental and as some suggested an outtro to the EP perhaps?

Also all_thumbs09, yes mate we can blast that out anytime, it's a chord progression Binterz has had for a good while now and my leads are that predictable it happens whenever we try it without fail!

Thank you all!!

I like it CC. It's a good "mood/put life in perspective" type of track. I'd really like to hear it when you've polished it up some.

Actually, I'd like to hear a lot more of what you guys do. Where can I find it?

Thanks very much guys.

Ricky, once all is done I will get it to you. I could post my old bands' stuff but it's not really any reflection on what we are doing at the minute.

Still wondering whether to even work that demo into a Cross Eyed Mary track or just leave it as it was intended for me Binterz's jam band Buckfast at Tiffany's.

Real nice vibe CC and I like the way it built and the licks you were playing as it did. I personally would look at it in a few different ways, you can make it an instrumental or you could add lyrics and find a chorus but then you would have to take away most of your lead playing and trim the fat for a solo or interlude. Either way it is rather hypnotic and I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

So glad you guys see something in it. As I said we have so many of these type of things. When we party and the place is full of musos we usually record everything we jam and then me and Binterz go through what we done to see if anythings worth keeping. We dump a lot but they are usually awful.

Just really wanted to see if you guys thought there was potential in this particular one as I did. I appreciate the opinions of everyone here and I look forward to more forum members trying the same!

I mailed Binterz about getting that file to you ABS bro. Glad you like it!

Cheers!

CC that's how you play wasted?!?

Still really fluid. I really like the vibe. Nice flow, and like ceri and other have said, I liked how it didn't move into cliche parts.

I would think the 'saminess' you talk about won't be an issue once you work out a vocal part,( i think it sounds like it wants to be a vocal song rather than an instrumental, just don't make it a typical sappy love ballad!) definite jewel in the rough though, needa bit of arranging, and a bit of structural tweaking, but not much.

I'll say htis, I am impressed with the sound you got out of your line6. I always seem to get something similar to a sound i want, but never anything i am really happy with. Your would make me happy.
