We did a completely unplugged set for a Christmas party a bar was having. It was a real blast to play an entire set acoustically.

I was also fortunate enough to be a part of a band that played the Hard Rock Cafe in NYC several times.

I miss gigging, but not lugging equipment and the late nights.

well thank you man, it DO appreciate it...i lot of it has to do with the fact that at this point i am doomed to be a strummer! which is ok if thats all i ever progress to, i am working on blues soloing and playing with backing tracks more lately, but it is tough going and coming around slowly. I wasn't even a huge blues music listener like I am now when I first started and really just started playing to learn all the Latin/Spanish songs I like so much. From there it turned into me wanting to learn the blues and blues soloing. Thank you though man, much appreciated.

Not a problem at all. Nothing wrong with strumming either man, one step at a time. You can't run without learning to walk first you know?

Best of luck mate.

Same here, I know literally 2 people who play guitar and that is my guitar instructor and he is always busy with lessons and gigs and a guy I went to high school with who has kids and a family and never has time to play. My dog is the only person I have really played for!

Didn't you say you did an assembly in your school once?
My closest thing to a proper gig is school concerts.
