Does most or all Fender Custom shop body or pocket dont have
a tag or a stamp maybe a serial number where the
neck is connected? You know on the not finish area
of the wood where you attached the neck to..
Hard to explain but hope you know what am talking
about..
I just bought a Clapton CS 2009 and i took the neck off and the neck has a date and I believe it said blackie or something but how do you know if the body is a Custom shop?

Just wondering its authenticity and to learn know more about how determining a Fenders guitar

look underneath the pickups. There should be a model no' or something stamped under the neck or middle pickups.
