Just wondering if anyone else likes Brad Paisley. I absolutely love his playing, and after seeing him live in the front row......The dude plays insanely well, he does that two finger picking business and his left had just goes all around the fingerboad effortlessly and with crazy speed and accuracy.

I wonder how Crook guitars is allowed to make identical Telecasters. I mean the headstock is even identical.

Without a doubt a monster player though personally I am more into Keith Urban another great player ,writer and singer. There is so much talent in country as there is no gain and distortion to hide behind, and to be honest a lot of country players sound more in the vein of country rock today like the Eagles did but only in a reverse way.

I saw Brad here in LA a few weeks ago and I was very impressed. Very good guitarist and the show overall was up to that standard as well.

I'm not sure who the drummer was, but he was one of the best I've ever seen anywhere, any genre of music. But Brad was the show and he played the heck out of it all night long!

I believe that Brad uses a 68 Paisley Tele in some parts of his show. Crook Guitars have their own logo on the headstock.

Brad also uses B or G benders on his guitars attached to his strap. Nifty little trick like giving you an extra finger on your left hand.

He is a multi talented young man who's musical and lyrical talents will make him a benchmark for future generations to aspire to. God has certainly blessed him and he seems humble about it which I like...

Big fan here and I generally hate new school country music, but the guy can flat out play and has some super tone.

I've seen him play 'live' once in a small 250-seat club and he did use the '68 Paisley Fender Tele on a few tunes. He spoke to the audience and said how he used to go home after school and practice until he fell asleep.
It shows!

Paisley is definitely a phenomenal player with an innovative technique and awesome tone. As mentioned previously, the B or G bender is a significant part of his technique.
I lived in Nashville for a while and spent a lot of time in and around the "business". The vast majority of music recorded in country music is performed by a small, select group of talented studio musicians. Paisley, on the other hand, performs and records all of his guitar work. His band also does the same. That says a lot to me.
Also, I attended a charity that featured a guitar duel ("cutting heads") between Paisley and Keith Urban. It was awesome! Keith Urban is also an incredible player, more of a rock style in my opinion. In the end though, Paisley rocked his face off.[/quote]
