Doyle Bramhall II toured on that some years ago. His story is that he heard Waters was looking for a guitarist for the tour. Brahmhall owned a tape player which enabled him to tune out the guitar tracks so he learned them all and eventually got the gig. You can find some of his performances on YouTube. Do you happen to know who the guitarists for this tour are?

That's that guy that plays a right handed guitar left handed but strung standard for a right handed guitar so its all upside down (run on sentence) correct? I saw him on the "In the Flesh Tour" That guy was AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING to watch. Definately on the underrated or even unknown virtuoso list. He had to have been completely self taught because who the hell plays like that? He also had Snowy White playing with him which was also very much the treat. I hope he has both of those cats playing again. I honestly didn't miss Gilmour given the circumstances thanks to those two.

What be really cool would be to do an anniversary tour of Roger Waters backed by Clapton commemorating Waters' first solo album (where Clapton was on guitar). Any one remember "the Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking" ... ?

I try to forget that album to be honest. Claptons playing on that was boring and IMHO, ruined it for me. But maybe i'm biased. I thought Jeff Beck on Amuzed to Death was a superb.

[/quote]His dad was part of Double Trouble. He grew up steeped in all of that. He is part of Arc Angels. He's recorded and toured with Eric Clapton. You've seen him on the Crossroads Concerts. Not so underrated or unknown. Two of his songs are on "Riding With The King'.

I saw Waters perform The Wall a few summers ago at the PNC Arts Center in NJ. Really great performance. One of the best shows I've ever seen/heard live.
